London - Camden

This is a unique part of London, with punks, goths, and alter-globalists. Above all, Camden residents are lively, young, and activist, and there are vegan options everywhere! After exploring the markets and walking along the canal (which you can see here), you’ll need to refuel. Below are my favorite pizzeria and café!

Purezza

This pizzeria is 100% vegan, and everything we ate was absolutely fantastic. We shared a pizza to save room for dessert. I would have loved to spend more time in Camden just to come back here and try more!

The restaurant itself is beautiful and spacious. There’s a patio for outdoor dining when weather allows. The staff are very welcoming, too. The pizza names are inspired by Friends episode titles (“The one with…”). Pictured are “The one with the pesto” pizza and a salted caramel brownie for dessert. An absolute delight.

Sit near the window for some good people-watching… another must-do in Camden!

Saint Espresso

Who needs French pastries when Saint Espresso has vegan pain au chocolat?!

Located near the Mornington Crescent tube station (at the south end of Camden High Street), this café has a large lower level, beautiful greenery, and several plant-based options on their menu.

Pictured here is the avocado toast. If I had come for lunch I would have had their eggplant and chickpea tagine. And I want to come back for more!

(Note: this café does not take cash.)
