Stevens Point

Stevens Point is located in central Wisconsin, and if you’re visiting and looking for food, here are my recommendations:

  • Wicked Willow

  • Father Fats

Wicked Willow

If you’re looking for a place to eat after exploring the Stevens Point Sculpture Park, biking on the Green Circle Trail, or after a visit to the Farmer’s Market, Wicked Willow is the best vegan place in town.

Pictured left are the quesadilla (build-your-own) and a Mac n Cheese. The food is delicious and the restaurant is really cute.

It is located downtown (1137 Main Street) and there is plenty of street parking.

Check out their website for the full menu: https://www.wickedwillowllc.com

NB: I went back in August 2023 after the new owners reopened the restaurant, and I’m happy to report the food is as delicious as ever!

Father Fats

Father Fats is a small plates restaurant, where you ordered several dishes and share. The portions are not very big, but everything we had tasted great.

If you look at the menu, nothing is vegan, but the chef can accommodate, and we were very happy with the results.

The quinoa seems very simple, but the cherry reduction worked magic! The tacos were very flavorful, as well as the red pepper hummus. The pasta also looked simple but was quite delicious.

They also have several flavors of sorbet for dessert options, fancy cocktails, and mocktails!
