Torino vegan
Torino is such a beautiful, underrated city! The center is a gorgeous place to walk, with its baroque architecture, and I very much enjoyed visiting the GAM (museum of modern and contemporary arts).

With so much walking around, one needs to eat! Here are my favorite options to fuel up before going at it again!

I was very happy in this low-key all vegetarian restaurant with so many vegan options!
For appetizers, we chose the combo that had a sample of all the vegan appetizers: hummus, “Russian salad” (which is potato-based), couscous with veggies, chickpea and zucchini sticks and caponata (which is eggplant-based). For my main dish, I had eggplant parmigiana, and after all these appetizers, I was glad that the portion was reasonable!
The owner was very friendly and came to talk to us.
This restaurant is about a ten-minute walk from the Porta Nuova train station, and from the Mole Antonella (cinema museum). Go to Parco Valentino afterwards for a walk!

Located on the pretty Piazza Carlo Emanuele II, in the centre, this omni restaurant omni has several clearly marked vegan options on their menu (V for vegetarian, VEG for vegan). The zeppoline appetizer was a little dry, but with the paprika veganaise it was very good!
However, the Cinecittà pizza was just absolutely delicious! With a carrot ans squash base that was a little sweet but nicely balances by the olives and capers toppings, and a final touch of crispy black cabbage chips!
